What is Citadel and why should I use it?

Citadel Commerce is an online payment solution that offers eCheck services for Canadian bank accounts holders. Unlike most eCheck payment solutions requiring a minimum of 24 hours for account validation, Citadel Commerce activates your account within 15 minutes. In order to open a Citadel account, you must have a Canadian Checking/Savings account, and you must be in Canada when you make an online transaction using Citadel.

Are there any age restrictions for depositing via Citadel?

   1. Enter the amount you want to transfer to your PartyAccount and a bonus code (if you have any).
   2. Enter the other details required on the form and click on “Continue”.
4. You will redirected to a Citadel Commerce page where you will have to complete a form and click "Submit".
5. Once you receive the "Successful Transaction" message, click "Ok" to close the window.

Do I have to download the security shield every time I make a deposit?

No. As long as you are using the same computer, the shield will remain in place. However, if you change computers, you will need to download the security shield again.

What is the difference between a 'Citadel' and a 'My Citadel' account?

The 'My Citadel' option works just like a Citadel Commerce Account however it is also an online wallet. Once you register your information (including SSN), you can fund your Citadel account using a Canadian bank account. You can use this to: deposit funds directly from a financial institution, withdraw funds from your wallet directly to any bank or credit union account in Canada, convert between currencies, make web payments, and receive web credits.
